More pictures of my helpers in my morning routines...the lump in the bed is James.....

 

It's (almost) finished!  I got the quilt club quilt put together, and hopefully off to the quilter's today.  I had, as usual, a bit of help getting it all put together.  It is huge!!  50 blocks in total, 100 inches by 76 inches.  Good thing I had a year, and a monthly meeting to show off my blocks, to put it together, or I wouldn't have gotten this one done.  Some of the blocks are adorable - I love the tractor, the pig, etc.  

 

Banks were closed Monday, so AJ and I had the day off, and Alli had a helper in to watch her, so.....we took advantage of someone watching Alli, and took Ripley and Luna for a walk at the Sundial Bridge.  The weather was chilly and foggy, but it was still nice to get out for a bit before the rains came in.  The birds were out in force.

 

And more cute kitten pictures....this is my sewing basket, and I have to move the cats out of the way for me to sew anything - a good excuse for not finishing that project, right??

And they still sleep together - but usually because James goes to sleep somewhere and Jessie climbs in with her.  I think Jessie has a separation anxiety disorder - she hates being alone, and is quite vocal about being picked up and held....even going to the lengths of leaping on to my shoulder if I'm ignoring her, and am close enough.....and sometimes I'm not as close as she thinks....ouch!!  

 

My "helpers" - re-making Alli's bed is an almost daily task - and I usually have "help"....and I wonder why I run behind on time in the morning????

 

My "winter garden", such as it is, usually doesn't need a lot of attention, so I tend to ignore it.  Due to the recent cold (cold to us at least) weather, I went out to check on it last night...and maybe grab some greens to add to a salad.  Somebody else beat me to it, and it proves that NOBODY likes Swiss Chard!

I tried a new pattern for quick gift card holders…the bank is giving gift cards to the Loan Service  Department, and I got drafted to pick them up for the California team. I thought this might make the a little more personal…

The 2023 calendars are on order!

 I spent part of Sunday raking leaves in the front yard this weekend. I didn’t touch the leaves in the back yard and still had piles and piles to rake up. I thought I purchased a leaf shredder to help with the bulk of the leaves, but when I opened my package, I realized that I had changed my mind midstream and ended up buying a shredder that does limbs and sticks, etc. not just leaves I do need that so I kept it but I also ordered an actual leaf shredder with a hopper to put my leaves in that should be here on Friday.  

We were dog sitting Cooper over Thanksgiving week, and looked over to catch this scenario….. should I be worried???

Cooper stood over Jessie for quite a while before she woke up and wandered away and Cooper followed her….
